Pioneering India's Private Space Revolution
Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt. Ltd. is a passionate team of space enthusiasts operating from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Recognized as a startup by the DPIIT, Startup India, and the Ministry of MSME, and supported by Cradle-EDII and the Govt. of India, we are dedicated to transforming the Aerospace and Defense industry. Through strategic global collaborations including an exclusive partnership with Stratonautica (Russia) for rapid stratospheric launches we are building the infrastructure to make space exploration a reality for everyone.
We are developing the Infinity-One, a highly customizable, Reusable Electric Rocket designed to carry nano and small satellite payloads into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) at altitudes up to 800 km. By adopting cutting-edge technologies like advanced material composites, metal 3D printing, cryogenic engines, and nano avionics, we are making launches affordable, reliable, and highly efficient. Our ultimate engineering breakthrough is speed: we aim to achieve a complete rocket re-launch within just 24 hours.

2020
The Genesis. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic space sector reforms and the establishment of IN-SPACe to empower private players, Omspace Rocket and Exploration is born in Ahmedabad. We take our first step with a bold vision to democratize space through scalable, cost-effective satellite deployment solutions.
2021
Laying the Foundation. Incubated at CrAdLE (Centre for Advancing & Launching Enterprises) at EDII, we shift gears into hardcore R&D. The core team begins conceptualizing our small satellite launch vehicle architecture and setting up the foundational design for our propulsion systems.
2022
Building the Ecosystem. We expand our R&D operations and bring in fresh engineering talent to actively work on our orbital-class launch vehicle. We officially earn our Startup India (DIPP) recognition, cementing our commitment to building 'Made in India' space tech from the ground up.
2023
Fueling Innovation. A major boost to our digital and engineering pipeline. We are selected for the prestigious Amazon Web Services (AWS) global spacetech accelerator, earning a $100,000 innovation grant that helps accelerate the design phase of our Infinity One launch vehicle.
2024
Global Acceleration. We gain international momentum, expanding our horizons and participating in the prestigious TAcc+ International Spacetech Startup Support Program in Taiwan.
2025
Ignition, Expansion, and Recognition. A massive year of rapid growth. We achieve a technological breakthrough by successfully testing a 100% 'Made in India' 3D-printed ignitor for our cryogenic engine after 300+ test runs. We secure $3 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the Infinity One, inaugurate a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq. ft. R&D facility in Ahmedabad's GIDC industrial zone, and officially join the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).
2026
Gujarat's First Lift-Off. Fired up and making history. We successfully test-fire our single-stage sub-orbital sounding rocket from Bavaliyari near the Dholera space hub, officially becoming the first private entity to launch a rocket developed entirely on Gujarat soil. A massive thank you to Gujarat's Minister for Science and Technology, Shri Arjun Modhwadia, the Dholera administration, IN-SPACe, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the DGCA, and the Indian Coast Guard for their pivotal support and coordination in making this historic launch a reality.
