From Taiwan to Saudi Arabia: OmSpace's Growing Global Aerospace Network

Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt Ltd's international network includes AICRAFT, an Australian hardware and monitoring systems company founded by Mr. Tony, and Lathe Technology, a Saudi Arabia-based investor and partner led by CEO Mr. Abdul Aziz. Both relationships trace back to a defense exhibition in Taiwan and were reaffirmed on stage at Omspace's Emergence 6.0 anniversary summit in Ahmedabad.


India's private space sector doesn't grow in isolation it grows through the partnerships a company builds with investors, technology providers, and fellow founders who are willing to bet on it early. At Emergence 6.0, Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt Ltd used its sixth anniversary stage to spotlight exactly those relationships, and two names stood out: AICRAFT, out of Australia, and Lathe Technology, out of Saudi Arabia.


Where It Started: A Defense Exhibition in Taiwan


According to Mr. Abdul Aziz, CEO of Lathe Technology and an investor in Omspace, the relationship between the three founders didn't start in a boardroom it started at a defense exhibition in Taiwan:


"Raj, Tony, and I go back to a defense exhibition in Taiwan three founders who believed space needed international collaboration, not competition."


That framing collaboration over competition is the throughline of both partnerships. Rather than treating Omspace as a competitor to be watched from abroad, both AICRAFT and Lathe Technology have positioned themselves as active partners in its growth.




AICRAFT: Hardware and Data That Stays In-House


Mr. Tony, Founder of AICRAFT (Australia), spoke at Emergence 6.0 about what his company contributes to Omspace's launch operations low-power, high-performance monitoring hardware that tracks every subsystem so a launch stays predictable "from ignition to orbit." He was specific about a design philosophy the two companies share:


"Unlike cloud AI, where your data leaves the building, our systems keep that knowledge exactly where it belongs inside OMSPACE."


For a rocket company, that's not a minor technical detail. Telemetry and subsystem data during a launch campaign is sensitive by nature, and a monitoring partner built around on-premise, low-power hardware rather than cloud dependency is a meaningful fit for an aerospace manufacturer scaling toward more frequent launches.


Lathe Technology: Saudi Arabia Backing an Indian Rocket Programme


Lathe Technology's role goes beyond hardware the company is both a strategic partner and an investor in Omspace, which Mr. Abdul Aziz framed as Saudi Arabia backing India's rocket ambitions. His remarks at Emergence 6.0 tied the partnership directly to the anniversary itself:


"Today Lathe is proud to stand with OMSPACE as both partner and investor Saudi Arabia backing India's rocket ambitions. Every setback on the way to a launch is just the price of the breakthrough that follows."


Why Foreign Backing Matters for an Indian Reusable Rocket Company



For a capital-intensive, engineering-heavy sector like launch vehicle development, international investment and technology partnerships do two things at once: they extend runway, and they signal external validation to the domestic ecosystem the same ISRO veterans, government stakeholders, and future investors who are also watching Omspace's progress. Combined with the domestic institutional support Omspace has built with former ISRO scientists and Gujarat state representatives (covered in our Emergence 6.0 recap), these international ties round out a picture of a company building credibility on multiple fronts simultaneously technical, institutional, and financial.

It's also a preview of where Omspace intends to compete. A domestic sounding rocket success and a Gujarat manufacturing base are foundational, but investors and hardware partners based in Australia and Saudi Arabia point toward a company positioning itself as a global small-satellite launch provider, not only a domestic one.
